I am a counsellor working in private practice in Cardiff, Wales. I have experience of working with birth, pregnancy and child loss, birth trauma, bystander trauma, and male and female PND. My experience has been gained through the fields of mental health and birthing support.

Through working in these two fields I have developed a passion for supporting women and their partners who feel the need to explore their birth experience in more depth. I also work with expectant parents, both first time and subsequent pregnancies, who feel overwhelmed by the upcoming birth and/or the prospect of parenthood.

I feel I have the ability to combine my birthing knowledge together with my counselling skills to assist individuals in the exploration of their experiences of birth or concerns and emotions regarding parenthood.

I have additional training in Birth Trauma and the Rewind Technique via Your Birthright (www.yourbirthright.co.uk).

I am an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk/)
