Jodie Finch

Clinical psychologist

Through my work within a maternal mental health service, and my own experiences in birth, I have developed a passion for working with individuals in the perinatal period, in particular with those who have experienced birth trauma and perinatal loss. I am a clinical psychologist with 10 years’ experience working with people with a range of difficulties.

I recognise that the journey to parenting can be overwhelming, and by offering a safe space and working together hope to help you to make sense of your experiences. I use an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to meet your needs. These include trauma focused CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, attachment and systemic models.

I can support individuals experiencing a range of difficulties in the perinatal period including: birth trauma, perinatal loss, adjustment to the role of parenting, tokophobia and perinatal low mood and anxiety.

I am registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) and can offer support through WPA and other providers. I offer a reduced rate to those on maternity leave. I offer therapy online.
