I am a qualified social worker and psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over thirty years’ experience working in the field of mental health, in both the private and public sectors, with people presenting with a wide range of problems.

I am particularly interested in all aspects of women's emotional experience of childbearing and motherhood and over many years was involved in supporting mothers-to-be and new mothers through the National Childbirth Trust.

My approach is psychoanalytic in that I am interested in helping someone understand how unconscious factors have coloured and shaped their particular experience, including traumatic ones. I offer consultations and ongoing therapy sessions.
