Anjelika Rimkoute
I am a BACP-accredited therapist deeply committed to supporting individuals through their most challenging times. With specialized training and experience in trauma and PTSD, I use compassionate methods like the Rewind Technique—an NHS-approved approach for addressing birth trauma—along with mindfulness and Imagery Rescripting. My background also includes extensive experience in helping individuals navigate bereavement, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I hold postgraduate certificates in Couples Therapy and the NHS's approved treatment for depression (PCE CfD).
For over 13 years, I have had the privilege of supporting women during their motherhood journeys as a senior midwife. I have been there for women and their families through a range of experiences, from emergency procedures to the joy of water births, as well as the heartbreak of stillbirths and pregnancy losses. As a Professional Midwifery Advocate, I've offered birth reviews, debriefs, and support in navigating complaints. You can count on my empathetic approach and genuine desire to help you find healing and understanding.
I can support you with:
- Birth reflection and debrief
- Birth trauma and PTSD
- Antenatal and postnatal depression
- Maternal anxiety
- Relationship difficulties
